RZD Logistics and Ratraco dispatch first direct Russia-Vietnam rail shipment

JSC RZD Logistics dispatched a railway container shipment, from Freight Village Vorsino in Kaluga, with cosmetics, shampoo for both adults and children, soap, shower gels, various scrubs, creams and masks for face and hair made by the Russian company “Red Line”, arrived in Hanoi on Jan 23, marked the launch of the Vietnam-Russia-Vietnam International Transport Corridor. It took 20 days to arrive, twice as fast as sea shipment.

Container belonging to PJSC TransContainer was loaded at the warehouse of the consignor. RZD Logistics’ subsidiary Far East Land Bridge received the freight at the Manchuria-Zabaikalsk border point and supervised the transportation through China. Ratraco, 35% owned by Vietnam Railways, controlled the final stage in Vietnam.
